Ready to roll up your sleeves and focus on the issues and opportunities specific to your group?
Whether your team needs a workshop or a concentrated group coaching session, setting aside a few hours to get focused and get aligned can yield instant returns.
For me, the value of coaching is that it’s individual and it’s focused. It takes all of your previous learning and training and channels it into tangible results. That’s what I love about team coaching. In a matter of hours I help you start moving past the blocks and into possibility. You’ll leave the session with a clearer focus, increased alignment and a handful of to do items you can go away and implement that very day.
There are a number of tools we can use depending on the desired outcomes and where the group is in their development. We often begin with a needs assessment to ensure we have buy-in of those involved and to assist with determining the best place to start.
Group coaching topics tend to include:
“Karen’s NAIL IT!® program and guidance was a great chance to rethink my goals, assess my skill set and remind me of my personal and professional values. She helped me get "unstuck" and back on track in my career. Highly recommended.”Associate Editor
“My work with Karen, in the context of succession planning and leadership development, was an extremely positive and rewarding experience. Karen is a dedicated, knowledgeable and consummate professional. Regardless of your place in the org chart, working with Karen to uncover and focus on your skills, and address your weaknesses (we all have them!) is a great way to add some high octane to your career development.”Venture Capitalist, Board Director, Mentor, Entrepreneur, Teacher, Writer
"Nail It! is a fabulous tool for coaches and their clients to creatively address one of the most common issues that come up in coaching — usually framed as “How do I get out of here?” I can’t wait to share Nail It! with young leaders and seasoned professionals who want more from their career. And I’m starting with my own children so they have a solid career plan of their own. Thank you, Karen, for making this mysterious process enjoyable and immensely practical."Executive Coaching Program, Royal Roads University, and contributing author, Roadmap to Success, with Ken Blanchard and Steven Covey.
“I had the opportunity to engage Karen as a leadership coach while I was at Emera. My work with Karen was very useful in helping me navigate the various changes in my world, and in assisting me in setting goals. Karen is a great sounding board for ideas and in assessing the best approach to resolving challenges along the way. I highly recommend Karen as a leadership coach.”Utilities Professional
“I was young, ambitious, filled with big dreams...and frustrated that I wasn't making fast enough progress. A colleague told me about a great coach he was working with, so I decided to check her out. Enter Karen Kelloway. Karen's coaching helped me create a powerful vision for what I wanted and a tangible plan for making it happen. Flash forward eight years. I'm sorting through an abandoned filing cabinet and re-discover a folder containing notes and worksheets from my work with Karen. I recycled everything in that cabinet EXCEPT my "Kelloway File." I'm keeping it because when I think of how she helped me redefine and claim success at a pivotal point in my career, I continue to feel a deep sense of gratitude.”Women's Leadership Development Expert
“Karen's coaching was very helpful to me as I made the transition from a manager to a leader. She pushed me to look at situations and myself differently and to make real changes that would stick. Karen is great for helping you focus on one area of development at a time and then giving positive reinforcement for the changes you are making. I have seen several positive changes in my approach to leadership and in the results I have achieved since I started working with her.”Director, Customer Care at Nova Scotia Power
